Treatment Options
Immediate medical intervention is vital. Treatments include clot-busting drugs (TPA) or mechanical thrombectomy. Early rehabilitation is key to recovering lost functions.
Prevention & Lifestyle
Manage high blood pressure, quit smoking, control diabetes, and maintain a healthy weight. Regular screenings for atrial fibrillation (irregular heartbeat) are also recommended.
